Princeton University Engineering Quadrangle; Professor Davidson Laboratory Renovation
Location: princeton, nj
type: education - laboratory
ARCHITECT: jacobswyper
This lab renovation required all new mechanical, electrical, life safety, and lab gas system designs to the third floor in the Princeton Engineering Quadrangle A wing building at Princeton University. The new lab space is used by Dr. Davidson and team, as a main research lab and supplemental special equipment rooms within the floor. The group will focus on developing, studying, and fabricating polymeric materials. The lab layouts and supporting building infrastructure included bench space for storing individual materials in progress, balances for weighing out materials, storage for chemicals, flammable solvents, and reagents, and hoods for running reactions and holding equipment for evaporation and separation such as a rotary evaporator.
